South Seas Island Resort offers hotel rooms, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation rentals as well as private home rentals ranging from 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom to 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom with direct bay front, partial bay, tennis court, marina, partial beach and direct beach front views. On-site amenities at South Seas Island Resort include 15 heated pools, 2 zero entry pools, one water park style pool (many private homes offer private pools in addition to resort pools), 18 tennis courts, 9 hole executive golf course, 5 dining options including Holy Smoke Heavenly Barbeque, Starbucks Cafe, Scoops & Slices Restaurant, Harbourside Bar & Grill and The Pointe, deep water marina with capacity for yachts up to 120 ft in length, children's and teen clubs, fitness center, spa, water sport rentals, Hertz Rental Car, and shopping center that includes Chadwick's Square, Captiva Provisions Company, Beach House, H2O Outfitters, Lilly Pullitzer and Redfish Pass.
South Seas Island Resort has resort managed rentals that typically
rent daily (minimum stay restrictions apply to certain rentals and
rental dates) and require a $15 daily resort fee per adult (17 years
and older) which includes: Reservation Central works directly with South Seas Island Resort to offer every resort managed rental. In addition to the resort managed units, there are certain units within the resort that are managed off-site with private Sanibel Island or Captiva Island vacation rental companies. Reservation Central also works directly with nearly every on-Island vacation rental company to offer the most extensive list of South Seas Island Resort rental properties. Typically the non-resort managed rental properties will be discounted up to 30% or more compared to the resort managed rental properties. A non-resort managed rental property will still have access to the association pool(s) and the beach. To gain access to the resort amenities, you may purchase a resort card directly from the resort upon check-in for the full duration of your stay at a cost of $75 per day per person. Certain units may not participate in this program, please confirm prior to your rental. As you enter South Seas Island Resort, you will find a front gate that is staffed. They will let you through to the front desk area for check-in or directly to your unit. To the right of the entrance is the Bay and Tennis Villas. Those buildings are elevator serviced and there are signs directing you to your unit. To the left of the entrance are the Beach Villas. Please note that while most buildings are elevator serviced, the 2000 and 2100 buildings are not elevator serviced. Most units also do not include a washer/dryer in the unit. After the Beach Villas you will come to the Beach Cottages and then the Beach Homes from 1 through 33. After a vegetation break, you will come to the Gulf Cottages and Plantation Beach Club Timeshare Rentals. After the Timeshare Rentals you will wind your way into the main resort area which has the main pools, golf course entrance, restaurants and Marina Villas, Harbourside Guest Rooms, Seabreeze, Plantation House, Cottages at South Seas, South Seas Club and at the end of the resort, Lands End Village. All South Seas Island Resort vacation rentals are privately owned with available rental units professionally managed on-site or through on-Island, off-site companies.
